HOW TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN AN INTERVIEW:IMPORTANT POINTS YOU NEED TO SAY

           Important points to be mentioned while introducing yourself in an interview

Hi Friends.
This is another important article on how to succeed in interviews easily. In any interview, the most frequently asked first question is "Introduce Yourself". If you answer this question well then you are on the right track and your chances of winning in the interview will be bright because "Well Begun is Half Done".

So I thought of giving you a list of points which you need to prepare well to create a best impression about you in the minds of the interviewers.

* Begin with your name.

Example: My name is ____________  (or) I am ________________

* Your native place.

Example: My native place is _____________

* Educational qualification.

Note: Begin with where you have done your secondary education along with the percentage of marks scored(10th standard) and then mention about your higher secondary education with percentage of marks.(12th standard).
Then tell about college education(U.G.,P.G.,Research,etc.)

* Family background.
Note: Give a brief introduction about your family.

* Extra-curricular activities:

Example: If you are an active participant in any sports(ex.:cricket,football,tennis,hockey,athletics,etc) Mention about your participation and any awards and selections.

* Co-curricular activities:

Example: Tell about your participation in any essay writing and speech competition.

* Hobbies.

Example: Playing cricket,badminton, Listen to music, Read books and journals.

* Aim.

Cover all the above mentioned areas in a sequential manner.

While introducing yourself, start slowly and steadily like a tortoise. That is the key to success. If you try to rush up with words, suddenly you will run out of words and would start thinking about what to say next and as a result you should remain mum for sometime. Be cautious about it.

Finally, one small advice, "Nothing comes easy in life" "Only Practice makes a man perfect".

Tip: If you really want to impress with your introduction to the interviewers, stand in front of a mirror and practice the habit of introducing yourself and you will feel more confident and optimistic.

"SUCCESS FAVORS THE WELL PREPARED".
