NEW STRATEGY ON HOW TO PASS UGC NET COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH REFERENCE BOOK LIST

STRATEGY TO CLEAR PAPER 2 & 3 OF UGC NET COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH REFERENCE BOOK DETAILS

Hi friends.
In this article I will explain you all about some of the new approaches that can be followed to clear the exam easily.

WRITING PRACTICE: Writing practice holds the key to success in NET exam particularly for paper 3. As you all are aware of the fact that this is an All India Exam, you have to learn and practice writing a lot prior to the exam. The more you practice, the better your chances to succeed in this exam.

SURFING ON THE INTERNET: Internet surfing is another vital factor because you cannot find everything prescribed in the syllabus in text books. It is also not possible to buy all the books. So you can search in the internet to get access to relevant information of various topics. Make internet surfing your hobby.

PREPARE CONSISTENTLY: You can easily clear the exam if you prepare well for atleast 2-3 months regularly. Because the secret of success is consistency of purpose. Start learning new concepts each day and practice them by writing and that is the symbol for victory.

SOLVE PREVIOUS YEAR  PAPERS: Solving previous year papers will give you an edge to do the exam well. In fact, many of the questions posted on my blog are previous year solved questions. So go through them thoroughly. As UGC trend is changing, I will soon start posting descriptive answers too on my blog which may help the aspiring candidates to perform better in the exam.

START YOUR PREPARATION NOW: Don’t wait till the notification comes. Start your preparation instantly because tomorrow may be too late. If you start your preparation early, then you will have ample time to revise what you have learnt and practiced and face the exam more confidently. Be proactive. Begin your preparation with subjects in which you have keen interest. Prepare them well. Then concentrate upon other subjects too to gain mastery over them.

ATTEMPT MAXIMUM QUESTIONS: Try to attempt as many questions as you can because candidates generally do not go through the questions properly and immediately make the decision that questions are tough. It is not a good practice. The truth is that the questions are asked in an indirect way. So try to read each question atleast twice so that you will be able to get an idea about how to solve those questions.

MAKE BEST USE OF TIME AND OPPORTUNITY: Another common problem is that candidates generally do not utilize 2 ½ hours given for paper 3 properly. To make the best use of those 2 ½ hours, you have to  learn and practice a lot to see your dream come true.  Impossible is nothing in life. Just like little drops of water makes a huge ocean, Little amount of hard work everyday for some months will yield amazing career progressing results.

  15. Go through previous years SLET papers.
It will be good to learn some theorotical concepts too based on your syllabus to further enhance your preparation.
As a general rule, questions asked in SLET exam will be easier than NET.
So prepare well to succeed with flying colours.
    All the best.

  25. Hi Tanvir,
Your Blog is really Informative. Both CBSE and CSIR is conducting Net Exam for December 2015. But for December 2015, CSIR NET eliminates Engineering Category. So the only option is CBSE. What is the Difference ? Whether CSIR will conduct again for Engineering Sciences or Not ? Just need the Information . Anybody can help me n this

    ReplyDelete
  26. CBSE UGC NET conducts exams for arts and science post graduate candidates which is conducted for about some 80+ subjects..
CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted in disciplines like life science, physical science, chemical science planetary science, etc.
So according to your subject, you can opt for either csir net or cbse ugc net.
But both the exams are conducted to select potential candiates for lecturership in colleges and pursue Phd. if they pass JRF also.

  27. Dear friend, I finished my MCA in 1998. i worked at various levels in IT and still in touch with programming and technical skills. I would like to pursue as a lecturer in computer science. Kindly let me know how to prepare for NET exam and how are opportunities for me in this field for my experience.

  28. Dear Tanvir,

Is this exam meant to get us a Government Lecturer job if we qualify?

Will everyone who qualifies in this exam will get a job.

    Thanks in Advance.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes you can become a lecturer in a government college all over India but passing the net exam alone doesn't guarantee the job. You have to look for job opportunities in various colleges and get yourself placed.
In short, NET is a qualification or the entry point to become a government lecturer.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @praveen
Go through the syllabus and get access to the respective books. Cosistent preparation for 3 months will help you to sail through the exam with flying colours.
Once you get the job as a lecturer in a government college, prospectives are bright.

  31. Really Nice Suggestion..Thanks for Posting....

  32. Sir,is there any age limit for csir net exam

    ReplyDelete
  33. There is no age limit for lecturership but age limit is there for award of jrf.
That is 28 years is maximum age limit for lecturer ship and jrf.
No such age limit for lecturership alone.
    Hope it clears your doubt.
    All the best.
