Procedure to download UGC NET E-Certificates

Dear friends.

Congratulations to all of you who have cleared UGC-NET exam.
Its joy time for those who cleared the exam but downloading e-certificates is a bit complex task.
So I thought of publishing an article on how to download e-certificates without any problem.
Follow these simple steps to download and open your certificate.

Procedure for downloading e-certificate:

Well everyone knows how to login to your account but the main problem lies in how to download the certificate.

Note: Even if you have forgotten your password, just click the "forgot password link" and give your e-mail id, your date of birth and security key to generate a new password with which you can login and follow the procedure given below:

1. There are usually 3 tabs in the candidates account. The 4th tab is where the download link for e-certificate is available. Click on the 'eCertificate' link
eCertificate
tab.

2. Then you will get a red coloured tab as given  below. Just click on it.

3. As soon as you click on the red tab given as given above. Your certifcate will be downloaded.
Note:You need to have Adobe Reader to view the certificate.
The link to download Adobe Reader will be given in the UGC website itself.

4. After your certificate is downloaded, When you try to open the certificate you will be asked to type your password. this is the most crucial part.

5. Now type the first four characters of your name in CAPITAL LETTERS and your Date of Birth continuously.
Note: First make "CAPS Lock" on.
Example 1:If the Name is S RAMESH and Date of birth is 01/07/1990 then
the password will be S RA01071990

Note: The space after S is also to be considered as a character.
Do not put any special character between the date of birth.
Type continuously.

Example 2: NAME: A SATHISH and Date of birth is 20/09/1989
Password: A SA20091989

Note: 1.Space after the initial A is to be considered as a character.
2. No special characters between date of birth.

If you follow the procedure correctly, You can easily download the certificate.

Visit this link to start downloading e-certificate.

If you still have doubts, write your doubts in the comments box. I will help you.

Wishing you all great success in all your future endeavours.

  10. I have recieved email from UGC asking for sending attested copies of my Mark sheet & other certificates to get E certificate. Does it mean that i have qualified the exam ? Still not sure as, i could not see my roll no in the list of successful applicant in June, 2013 exam. For your info i appeared in Management stream and got aggregate of 62.83 % marks in the exam.
